About Ebisu Japanese Life Store

Located at 5846 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, Ebisu Japanese Life Store operates as an other food place serving Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 amโ€“9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (412) 385-9880. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is ebisulifestorepgh.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 101 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded other food places in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Love to purchase and take a look at various products in the store. It is a very nice variation of products and less expensive than I thought of it. Itโ€™s a good place to get Japanese products. Nice and great opportunity to visit and shop.

I really enjoyed this unique store and the wide variety of Japanese products they carry. They have food, snacks, beverages, anime stuff, claw machines, contest to win prizes, beauty and skin products, as well as Pokรฉmon, Labubu, and figurines. The staff are really nice! Items located on Forbes Ave in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood in Pittsburgh. I have a reel on this store on my IG if interested in seeing more of it before you go @bethany_in_the_city

Wow, wow, wowwww! So cutesy! Great walking area. Multiple foods options nearby. Team was friendly, happy to answer questions and guide you to the item location. They have a little bit of everything in here. I will say, the prices are a little high but better than buying a plane ticket to get the original price or paying a import fee. So pick your battles :p. Yes, they have Sonny angels at $25 behind the register. $5 card minimum. Soooo many snacks :0. Definitely worth a visit!

If I had to make a complaint, which I really donโ€™t think I can complain about it because they were very respectable and they greeted my party as I walked in. The prices are a little bit steep, but itโ€™s very authentic. The store is very clean and it has a very wide variety of Japanese figurines treats hair & skin care, products and toiletries as well as very nice music playing. They have several claw machines and they also have trading cards like Pokรฉmon and some other trading cards in Japanese style as well. They have just about everything and anything in there and if they donโ€™t have anything that you like if you ask. They can get it for you. They have great service. I found out about this location via social media per Instagram. I heard excellent things about them and they did not disappoint. Itโ€™s way better in person. Thereโ€™s so much stuff and itโ€™s a very stimulating environment. Itโ€™s like you walk into a store and you feel like youโ€™re actually in Japan Tokyo to be exact! They come highly recommended, but donโ€™t take my word for stopping and check them

Nice place to pick up snacks, cute stuff, and anime figures. For the food items it is mostly snacks, drinks, ramen, and candy. The home products vary but there is a lot of water bottles and dishware. There is also a whole section on stationary and keychain items. There is claw machines and a wall of plushies. Then there is a small section of beauty products, anime figures, and blind boxes. The prices were fine, some things were average and some things pricey. Kinda just depends what you are looking at. Some of the pricey things are worth the price in store vs having to pay and wait online. The music choice in the store was good but very loud. The staff were nice and the store was tidy and organized.
